Plush blush and pretty pinks are really floating my boat. Blush is my new favorite color and I am obsessed with it. That and my firm favorite for life, pink. So many pretty girly things to find! I have to say I’m delighted that blush has come onto the interiors scene in a big way.
It is not as loud as pink can be but oh-so-subtle and understatedly sophisticated. I am just loving all the blush velvet as it has this gorgeous sheen to it. Blush and lighter pink tones can be used in harmony when layered with neutrals like creams and grey. Light grey teams up beautifully with it, as seen here. Both are calming, easy on the eye and relaxing to look at.
I admit it took me a while to get into using grey. When it came back into fashion a few years back, I just wasn’t sold on it, as it seemed quite dull. Since then I have changed my mind once seeing the extensive range of nice pastel greys mixed with warmer colors and now I’m really liking it. Especially with my beautiful blush and feminine pastel pinks.
Gold is another major obsession of mine. It matches with everything beautifully, has classic appeal and is shiny. What more could a girl want? Um, sparkles and fluff? Haha. As you can see, I am embracing my inner child with the wonderful and playful textures and fabrics in the chosen schemes I have put together. It is definitely a girly girl look but I indulged because it’s absolutely allowed! Unless your significant other disapproves – as mine definitely would for the living room ( I think?! ) but I think the bedroom would be fairly safe. Some men love pink, actually my man has a pink shirt but I suppose there needs to be a limit. Or does there?! I dunno but these are my fave finds anyway…
