Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette Review

It smells like chocolate // Too Faced Chocolate Bar – first impression

By Tessa from Bubbles and Macaroons
Hello everyone!

I recently got the beautiful Chocolate Bar palette by Too Faced. A lot of people rave about this palette and I had my eye on it for a long time. It looks so stunning, and the smell! It really smells like chocolate. Continue reading if you want to know my thoughts about this beauty.

The palette comes with a beautiful cardboard packaging. It is decorated so beautiful with pink and all the little details. There is a little glamour guide in there as well. Too Faced provides you with three looks you can try out with the palette. I will definitely try out those looks! They look very original to me.

The palette looks like a giant chocolate bar. That’s so funny and original. When you open up the palette, a delicious smell of chocolate fills your nostrils. I could smell it all day. I love this extra feature to the palette, it makes it even more fun to play around with it.

I also think it is very handy because the packaging is very convenient to travel with. It contains 16 shades, perfect for everyday looks as well as nighttime looks. I think this palette has a lot of beautiful fall shades. I think I will get lots of use out of this the upcoming season. Ready for some swatches?

Gilded ganache

All of the shades are made with 100% cocoa powder. That sounds so special to me and really gives an extra feature to the palette. Gilded Ganache is a very special color, it is hard to explain. It is a dark brown color with caramel undertones and golden shimmer in it. The shade is very pigmented and buttery.

Salted caramel

A medium brown color perfect as a transition shade in the crease.

A shimmery chocolate color with bronze shimmer in it.

White chocolate

A basic white color, perfect for highlighting.

A rosey, shimmery color perfect on the lid.

Crème brûlée

A true golden color. As you can see, this color is highly pigmented and opaque.

A dark brown basic color, perfect to blend in the crease for a little darkening.

Haute Chocolate

A shimmery chocolate color with a white shimmer in.

Milk Chocolate

A light brown color to shape up your crease.

Strawberry bon-bon

A blushed pink color that you can add on your lid or your crease for a cute look.

Cherry cordial

A burgundy color with a light glitter in it.

Black Forest truffle

A dark purple color with a golden shimmer in it. I love this color, it looks so royal!

Candied Violet

A bright purple with pink shimmer in it.

Triple fudge

A dark brown, ideal to darken up your crease.

A shimmery burgundy color. This color screams fall to me!

Champagne truffle

A champagne color with shimmer in it, a perfect highlighter color!

As you can see, all of these color are very fall-ish and sophisticated. I am in love with these kinda colors, so I am excited to try out some more looks with this palette!

What are your thoughts about this palette?

See you next time!
