The Inkey List has launched and it is an exciting new brand to look out for. The slick and bold packaging is simple, yet eye-catching and has no frills. It bears a striking resemblance to our well-known and loved The Ordinary range.
Perhaps this is due to the fact that the creators of the range have worked as buyers and product developers for The Ordinary, Glossier, Beauty Pie and Lixir. They have formulated the range based on what us customers want. A reasonably priced range featuring all our fave skin ingredients.
The fab thing about the range is that they really explain how each product works in plain detail. This helps us wade through all that confusion surrounding some of the new and varied products on the market.
They are a high quality line yet they are priced within anyones budget! The price point is along the same lines as The Ordinary, roughly between only £5 – £10.
Here are some of the Inkey List range –
Some of the most popular products on todays market such as Retinol, Squalane, Hyaluronic acid, Lactic Acid and Rosehip oil are among the Inkey Lists range. Some interesting new ones include Turmeric, Hemp oil, Collagen and Caffeine which are not as commonly seen on the market but all have fantastic skin clearing and nourishing anti-ageing properties.
It is exciting to try out the new products and not have to spend a fortune to do so. If you love it, great, if you don’t, then try something else! The fact that the price range is affordable gives you the freedom to try more skincare to find what is best.
The monochrome black and white packaging is cute and the branding reflects the general simplicity of the ingredients. When I say simplicity, I mean the product does exactly as it says on the packaging. It isn’t like many other skincare ranges that have so many ingredients professing to do lots of different things at once. You can choose your product with less confusion as to what it is meant for.
It even has the pronunciation on the front. Clean and simple, you can spot your product easily in the store. Another fantastic service The Inkey List provide is the Beauty Translators page online where you can ask your skincare questions by typing into the box and a representative answers for you! Check it out here.
As you can see below, when you turn the packaging around to the back, it gives the definition of the product and what it does for your skin. Talk about an easy shopping experience. It is written clearly in bold writing. Then your application details are on the side in simple bold instructions.
There are many similarities between The Inkey List and The Ordinary but that is most definitely a good thing. I am so excited to try the range now, I can’t wait to get my hands on it. I want everything!!
Have you tried The Inkey range yet? What products are you keen on? Let me know in the comments, I am putting my list together as we speak!
I will definitely be asking the Beauty Translators for some advice. I am really impressed with the concept. Stay tuned for my reviews!
