Who here loves throws? A lovely snuggle blanket that can be thrown on your couch, bed or floor cushions and look gorgeous as well as being functional. Winter is a great time to go throw shopping as there are so many gorgeous styles and fabrics to choose from at this time of the year. Now is a great time to buy since there are sales on after Christmas on a lot of these items.
So many different styles to choose from, where to start? I was amazed at the huge range available online. The ones I noticed cropping up over and over were these dainty pom pom and tassel edged style. See Anthropologie are using tassels on the beautiful bed linen range this season, below.
Pastel and light colors are popular, with lovely delicate and soft fabrics for the bedroom. Get ready for some show stopping throw shopping!

Faux fur is always a fave, so cuddly and warm. Very comforting and looks ah-mazing anywhere! The arm-knitted style giant chunky knits are absolutely divine and so tactile. They can be found for less than $30! Eeeek. The fluffier the better I think, with those sheepskin style ones really stealing the show. Chenille patterned ones are a nice texture and also the bouclé style, very show-stopping and unique! Serious throw envy there.
Blue tones are another trend to watch out for this year. I spy with my little eye, a LOT of blue and white themes with the nice Greek, beachy feel to them. These blue toned throws bring a nice cool splash of the seaside to your home. Perfect for Spring/Summer 2018. Makes me feel like going on holidays! Match them up with nice blue pottery or dish ware. They could double up as table cloths or picnic blankets so very versatile.
Neutrals are a big hit since the trusty neutrals will be all in this year. Let’s face it, you can’t really go wrong with neutral colors since they match everything and rarely go out of fashion. I am seeing a lot of neutral themes cropping up so here are my fave ones of those –
Rich deep reds and burgundy color throws really caught my eye with the aubergine purple tones. These are sure to add a touch of class to any home. Very luxurious and oh so soft and tactile. I am in love with the giant chunky knit ones and velvety soft snuggle blanket ones. If you want something lighter for the summer months, there are some nice lighter plaid, quilted and herringbone ones available. The rich opulence adds grandeur and fab colors to play around with.
