These easy baked cheese crisps make a tasty appetiser or snack and are ideal for replacing crisps or nuts when having drinks. They are really filling so you don’t eat too many.

I made them in 5 minutes so they are easy to make, quick and perfect if you have run out of snacks. Guests will be impressed by the novelty and they look great on the plate too.

Easy Baked Cheese Crisps

These tasty snacks are ideal for appetisers and nibbles. They are filling and satisfy a craving. A great alternative to crisps or nuts.

Servings 4

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese/similar grated

Instructions

  1. Pile small mounds of grated cheese on a baking sheet, spaced out to allow for expansion. You should fit 20 or more.

  2. Bake at 200° for around 5 mins.

  3. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool for at least 5 mins.

  4. Once crispy, serve as a snack. Store in an airtight container.

I sometimes eat them with some avocado dip or guacamole but they are very filling so fine on their own.
