The paper bag waisted trousers trend is gonna be huge this season. According to Pinterest trends, the searches have gone berserk over this popular style. It is certainly unique and very feminine.
I am really loving the checks and plaid versions, some of which I have shown below. I do like the frilly topped belted versions and the tailored look appeals to me.
Not sure if I can pull off the tight legging style of paper bag waisted trousers but hey, if you’ve got it flaunt it! I think they need to be paired with tight tops and blazers in order to show off the waist detail. Probably toned down with dark coloured basics and minimalist jewellery.Â
I do think you can go wild with shoes though! I love a nice pair of statement heels. I also like the fact that this style can be dressed up for a night out or casually for a chic daytime look.
