Before embarking on a recent trip to Ireland, I decided to check out the latest men’s fashion and to my great surprise – Mens farmer’s flatcaps are making a comeback! I wanted to buy my partner a nice present and something a bit Irish in style.
I went on to a great mens fashion site called Trendhim and found that indeed, the farmer’s flatcaps are a hot fashion item at the moment.
I contacted Trendhim and was lucky enough to be able to collaborate with them on my blog. They offered to send me a free gift in exchange for a blog post! Needless to say I was delighted to work with such a trendy brand. My man chose the farmer’s flat cap himself after going through the range of fashion on their site.
He has always wanted a cap like that and was chuffed to find a top quality one. It would arrive just in time for our trip to Ireland as their postage was super quick! They even sent a few branded sweets in the box/ It was a lovely touch I thought. The kids got those so they were happy.
The farmers flat cap arrived and we immediately knew it was top quality. They shape and style was perfect and the sizing was accurate.
Handily enough, they had a sizing chart on the website so we were able to double check by measuring. The fabric was a remarkable quality, lovely and soft but also seems robust and hardwearing. It is 40% wool and 60% polyester.
The brand is a well established one called Major Wear so we agreed the price at around 39 euro was good value. It is a hat that would probably last a lifetime. The great thing about this style is that it is classic so unlikely to date.
We laughed at the funny description on their site –
You don’t have to own a field full of cows to sport this snappy number. Its rural chic is just as well suited to the high street as it is to the pasture. Cut from an incredibly comfortable blend of wool & polyester, it not only looks great on anyone but also comes in different sizes to fit anyone.
Not only was this hat stylish and fashionable, it was also really practical.
My fella had just purchased a lovely brown leather jacket but it had no hood. We were going on holiday to Ireland via London during a storm! We knew not to bother with an umbrella so the hat was a great find. Perfect timing!
Tristan loved his hat, he wore it everywhere and it looked so well on him. He definitely looked Irish when we were in Ireland!
It is nice to see the farmer’s flatcap come back into fashion. They have a whole range of styles and also lots of other stylish hats to choose from.
If you are looking for mens gifts Trendhim are a fab place to shop. I highly recommend them, fantastic service and top quality. They ship worldwide and have sites depending on your location so it will ask you to choose your country when you click on the site – Trendhim
If you spend 39euro or more it is free shipping so that is really a great reason to shop with them. It is a fast post system too and all shipping details get sent to your email. Very handy if you are needing something for a certain date.
They have a fantastic range of mens accessories from belts, bow-ties, ties, wooden bow-ties (yes that is a current trend!), jewellery, braces, bags, wallets and more! They even sell shaving accessories so keep that in mind if you are searching for gifts!
Men will love this site and my guy will definitely be shopping there in future. The hat will be a firm favourite for many years to come. I just love when you find the perfect fashion accessory!
