Shea Moisture Curl Range Review

shea-moisture-curl-range-review

Here is my Shea Moisture Curl range review. After reading a lot of reviews on a few products from the range, I decided to give this a go.  In particular, I was keen to try the Coconut and Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie as it seems to be on top of the list of best curly hair products on the market.

It is for thick, curly hair and it moisturises and defines curls apparently. It has silk protein and Neem oil as well as coconut oil and shea butter.

Silk protein smoothes the hair and makes it silky soft.

Neem oil controls frizz and adds brilliant shine.

Coconut oil hydrates and protect. It also combats frizz.

I literally could not wait to try this so I used the Curl Enhancing Smoothie right away. It can be used on dry hair or damp. It is a leave-in styling cream and you apply it sparingly with your fingertips.

It says to section the hair for best results but I don’t really have time for all that with 2 kids at home so I just tried to cover all my hair lightly without overdoing it.

I have to say, the results were immediate and my hair was tamed in an instant! My normally frizzy curls were magically tamed and looking great!

The definition is really noticeable and my curls looked bouncier.

It is nice and light and although you can notice some product in the hair, it is subtle and smells lovely!

Really happy with that product and I used it this morning again after my shower on damp hair and I’m frizz-free again 🙂

I used the Coconut and Hibiscus Conditioner this morning and I noticed a difference in the condition of my hair today for the first time in a while.

It is moisturised at the ends which makes my curls and hair appear tidier and more well kept.

Generally my curls seem bouncier, my hair feels lighter and more nourished.

This is after only one use so I’m excited to see how this progresses!

These products are sulphate free, have no parabens, phthalates, paraffin, mineral oil or synthetic colour.

They are color safe so you can use them on dyed hair without stripping the colour out.

I read a review on how to tame your curls and get another day out of your style by using the Curl & Shine Style Milk so I bought that too.

So far, I have been using it for little touch-ups if my hair gets frizzy from the wind or whatever and it works really well.

Overall I’m very happy with the products and I will see how I get on after a few weeks.

I am pretty excited to see the results since it is working great for me so far.

Have any of you tried the range yet? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

The Curl Enhancing Smoothie has won numerous awards including the Allure Beauty Expert Readers Choice Award and seems to be up there with the best and favourite chosen products for curly hair year after year.

I am glad I did my research and read the reviews before deciding. It has paid off and I am very happy so far.
