A first visit to St Regis truly leaves one dazzled and in awe with a glimpse of the timeless luxury and the grandeur. As we ascended the grand sweeping staircase in the lobby of the St Regis Dubai we were stunned by the colossal crystal cut chandelier and the carefully selected beautiful art pieces dotted across the hotel. We went to try their Decadent Friday Versailles Evolution Brunch at Brasserie Quartier.
Brasserie Quartier at St Regis is a grand affair, which celebrates France’s rich culinary heritage bringing an exciting vibe to the classic brasserie. They have dedicated a theme brunch curated just to show how fancy and exquisite French food should be. It is surely a heaven for people who fancy the extravagant and more sophisticated lifestyle.

If you like your Friday’s fancy and don’t mind splashing some cash this is the brunch for you. Refinement and elegance are the key ingredients at Brasserie Quartier.
Traditional flavors evolves to a dining experience beyond expectation. Discover bold new beverages, a runway of sumptuous dishes, an elegant and indulgent treats with live entertainment every Friday. An ultimate gastronomical experience which will entice many with its flavors, textures and visually appealing spreads. The staff is super courteous and attentive with five-star impeccable service. They have live interactive counters with Chefs ensuring a delightful experience.
The concept of Versailles brunch is laidback – it offers a mix of a la carte table service and the exquisite live buffet stations. Crudités, canapés including snail beignets (vol-au-vents), salads, main courses and ample amount of drinks were served to the table. In keeping with the French theme the gourmet fare included foie gras, a pastry and croissant station, spectacular displays of the seafood station that has fresh and vibrant looking lobsters, mussels, shrimps, cold cuts and antipasti, an array of French cheeses and port.
Mains were chosen from the a la carte menu and it includes slow cooked Welsh lamb, foie gras stuffed chicken breast, twelve hours braised Wagyu short ribs and roasted sea bream, the vegetarian option of mushroom risotto. Before the mains, take your time to settle on some freshly baked bread with cheese which is another delightful way to fill your appetite with all things good.
The magnanimous sweet treats from the adjacent beautiful patisserie boutique are irresistible with delicacies like Cheesecake on sticks, chocolate mousse, and éclairs, bread and butter pudding made with croissants and served with crème anglaise.
In real brunch fashion there was of course a chocolate fountain, which had three flavors of rich chocolate flowing in harmony. The macaroon towers, hanging donuts and hand crafted chocolates were so elegantly displayed, you find yourself adoring each dessert in this French patisserie heaven. The nostalgic appeal of Victorian interiors with a twist of modern charm makes this restaurant glamorous.
VERDICT – BQ is all day dining restaurant, pretty popular for their French cuisine. Their Versailles Friday brunch is an event not to be missed, with live entertainment and scrumptious dishes; this is an opportunity to fill up with some glorious French food. The luxurious interior design left you in awe with its velvet seating and monochrome checked flooring everything has the wow-factor. Their Friday brunch is the pinnacle of its weekly culinary offerings. We highly recommend this Brunch & would rate our experience 10/10
