A few fashion trends have caught my eye recently and I am so excited to see all of them. They are all really daring and fun to play around with. 70’s style plays a big part here and I can’t wait to see more of them on the street in 2018! Here are the 4 big fashion trends I see coming into play. Yay!

1. Balloon Sleeves. I spotted a girl with a beautiful balloon sleeve shirt on the other day and I couldn’t help but notice how elegant and stunning they are. The flow of the sleeves really looks great while swishing along. She was walking in front of me and I was literally staring at her sleeves. I had to have a look online and yes, there are absolutely loads to choose from so I predict they’ll be a huge hit this season and hopefully through to summer too. With the light and delicate fabrics they can be worn with shorts too in hotter weather. Very 70’s boho chic. Love!!!!

 2. Purple. One of my all-time favorite colors, it is quite daring and very eye-catching. The color looks great on most people and can be deep or pastel depending on your preference. Light and dark purples have both been seen on the runway recently. So many gorgeous purple things, I am ecstatic that my fave color is all in this season. Go wild with purple lips, nails and eyes too but obviously not all at once. Don’t overdo it and just choose a few items to team up with matching colors for the best look. Check out that hat and the purple shades. I am really loving the purple silk scarves. So looking forward to this trend. Bring it on….

 3. Fringe! I am a massive fan of textures and dainty things so naturally I’m loving the latest trend that is fringe. So tactile and pretty. It has a 1920’s vibe which I’m loving but also a modern vibe thats edgy and can be found everywhere! From comfort styles such as the cardigan below and scarves up to evening wear and elegant jewelry. Looks great and feels fab too. Expect to see it everywhere soon since it is a big hit right now.

 

 

 4. DISCO. Needless to say this is gonna be a great fun style to play around with. So many gorgeous sparkly fabrics, chainmail, disco ball jewelry, sequins and metallics. This is gonna be the best! The anything-goes 70’s disco theme will see us really going wild with the freedom of style and expression here. Feel free to mix and match and mainly have fun with the no rules aspect. Glittery colorful makeup sets off the extravagant dress code. Express yourself and get ready to PARTY!!!
