The July Look Fantastic beauty box is all about embracing your inner goddess. It comes in a gorgeous gold box with black lining, all very luxurious and glam. I absolutely love the boxes as they make pretty storage boxes for my bedroom and are genuinely handy. With summer upon us, I am ready to get my glow on. Thanks to my Look Fantastic beauty box subscription I never run out of cool beauty products, hair care and makeup. I love that I get to try new products every month without having to even walk into a chemist or makeup store. Best of all, it only costs me 13 quid a month! Yippee!!

The first product I notice in the box is the Doucce Freematic Highlighter Mono in Sparkled Ray. I tried it immediately on the back of my hand. It is impressive, very shimmery and blends well. It has a lovely soft velvety feel to it with a very smooth and natural finish. Perfect for that lovely sun kissed summer glow. It is recommended to dampen your brush ever so slightly before tapping onto the ball of your cheeks while smiling. Then blend it out with a sweeping motion up to the hairline. You can also use this anywhere the sun would reflect, such as on your brow bone, collarbone, tip of the nose and chin. I am pretty excited to have this in my makeup bag. I love a bit of subtle shimmer.
The Filorga UV Bronze After Sun was the next product that drew my eye. It comes in a decent size sampler which is the perfect size for travelling. There are restrictions on liquids if you’re travelling with hand luggage so this size is handy. It has calming properties and is also classed as a tan booster. It can be used all over the body that has been exposed to the sun, including the face. It has argan, apricot and avocado oil. It has Hyaluronic acid and amino acid complex which nourish and moisturise. This is a product I will definitely use. It sounds nice and luxurious with all those comforting and skin softening ingredients. It is DHA self-tanning agent-free so no worries there.
First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser. This is a brand I have seen in quite a few magazines so I am happy to try it out. It removes surface oils, makeup, dirt and grime and has an antioxidant booster. It says it is safe for sensitive skin. It has been allergy-tested and is fragrance free. It helps eliminate excess sebum which is great for me because I have excess oil from over-production of sebum in summer. You only need a small amount and you massage it onto a damp face gently. You can remove it with a wash cloth or rinse off with warm water. It leaves the skin incredibly soft so I will keep using it.
I was surprised to be receiving yet another cleanser in the July Look Fantastic box! I am happy because at this rate I won’t have to buy a cleanser for ages. This SVR Sebiaclear cleanser is a smaller size but still should last for about 6 or 7 applications so again, a great travel size product for having in your carry-on luggage or even your handbag should you need it. It is a purifying and exfoliating soap-free cleanser. It is recommended for oily and sensitive skin so I am in luck again with this month box. Apply it to wet face and lather, then rinse. It is a gel that lathers so thats a nice cleanser for removing makeup and giving a nice fresh clean. I do love a good foaming cleanser, especially the gel kind. It is a nice way to refresh in the morning and replenish.
Kérastase Refection Bain Chromatique Shampoo. This is suitable for all hair types and protects against colour fading. This comes at a good time for me since I am dying my hair tomorrow so I shall be using this to keep the color. The sun can strip the colour from your hair and this protects against UV with UV filters. Pretty cool. It is infused with linseed oil and vitamin E for shine and optimum colour intensity. Sounds brilliant. You only use a small amount and lather it in thoroughly by managing it onto wet hair. I shall report back but it sounds like just what I need at the moment. Loving the July Look Fantastic beauty box as I will benefit from all the products so far.
Last but not least, the famous Lancer range Omega Hydrating Oil. It is a lightweight balancing oil with 10% Ferment Complex which delivers essential hydration, fatty acids, polyphenols and antioxidants. Warm a few drops of the oil in your palm – easily done with the cute little dropper. Apply evenly to the face and décolleté for healthier and softer skin. Suitable for all skin types. Well I have to say this sounds absolutely fantastic. I had a read of the ingredients and it seems to be natural and great quality oils in there, including turmeric. I love the fact that it has polyphenols and fatty acids. I’m excited to see how my skin progresses after using this. Tonnes of rave reviews online about it. A bottle costs 96 EURO so I am chuffed to be recieving such a quality high-end product, even if it is a small size. It comes in the cutest little glass bottle with a dropper which I love because once its finished I can use it for my own homemade serums or oils. Perfect!
I really enjoyed having a play with my new products and I adore being able to try fab products for such a bargain price every month. It is a real pick-me-up and every box comes with a copy of Elle magazine that you can read while relaxing and testing your goodies. It is absolutely worth 13 quid a month.
