Pretty impressed with the latest technology – the Iron Man jet suit! Powered by 5 micro jet engines, it can go up to 32 MPH and rise up to 13,000 FT. The only drawbacks are the fact that it only lasts for up to 3-4 minutes at a time and holds a hefty price tag. The ultimate boy toy is slightly unaffordable for most – however will no doubt appeal to ridiculously rich people (will possibly be seeing Dubai police floating around in them!) is now for sale at a grand price of $443,000.
Gravity Industries, who’s tagline is “the next frontier in human flight” are selling the patent-pending Iron Man flying jet suits if you are interested in buying one. The multi-million dollar company was set up by the inventor of the jet suit himself, Richard Browning in 2017. It is pretty exciting to see how this will develop over time! I reckon it could get to a stage where people will fly instead of walk. It would definitely free up space on the roads and imagine how much fun that would actually be!
Although the internet hype suggests that the suit is inspired by the Iron Man suit in the movie, it wasn’t! Both suits were designed independently. The human mind, body and of course technology come together intriguingly to produce a mind-blowing futuristic and rather genius invention. It certainly didn’t happen overnight, as we know Rome wasn’t built in a day, Richard dreamt of creating a flying machine since his childhood and was inspired by his father.
