
Mommy scars or stretch marks are just one of the many ways body changes during pregnancy. Your bump will eventually reduce. An average woman gains about 15 pounds during her pregnancy and this rapid growth makes skin itchy and causes reddish or black stretch marks on the stomach and breasts.
Over 90% of pregnant women will get stretch marks, so they are virtually unavoidable.
What a good stretch mark cream can do is considerably reduce their visibility. Having a healthy and nutritious diet is a prerequisite for any pregnant woman to have good skin. Along with a wholesome diet, you can also use the following home remedies for dry skin and for reducing pregnancy stretch marks.
#1. Apply Cocoa Butter

Regular use of shea butter will help to eliminate stretch marks and repair any damaged cells.
#3. Become friends with Sea Buckthorn Oil
Oil from Sea buckthorn seeds has been used for treating many skin conditions like sunburns, cuts, acne, dermatitis, dry skin, eczema and skin ulcers. And yes, it is extremely effective for reducing stretch marks as well!!! Why does it work so well? Well! Because it is a powerhouse of vitamins C, A, and E, beta-carotene, minerals, amino acids, and fatty acids – all of which are essential for healthy skin.
#4. Use a Vitamin E rich lotion
Every woman must have read the importance of Vitamin E for good skin health. #5. Try Rosehip Oil
Rosehip oil is non greasy oil that gets easily absorbed into your skin. It can easily be used by women who have oily skin as well, because it hydrates the skin, rather than forming an “oily layer”. Because it gets so easily absorbed, it can penetrate the skin deeply and reduce the occurrence of stretch marks. Rosehip oil contains linoleic and linolenic fatty acids, which support skin texture, prevent stretch marks as well as wrinkles.
Usually mommies, begin to experience itching and stretch marks from the fifth month onwards.
