Paris (Gare Montpernasse), France to Versailles (Versailles Chantiers), France Travel time 12mins

While in Paris, you could take in the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, l’Arc de Triomphe, Orsay Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Père Lachaise Cemetery, The Moulin Rouge, Sacré-Cœur Basilica and have a wander round the many enchanting districts and pretty streets while tasting the fine wine and best of French cheeses. Yes please!!!

At Versailles you could visit the Palace of Versailles, The Royal Chapel, Marie Antoinette’s whimsical estate and have a nice leisurely stroll around the sprawling gardens while relaxing and experiencing the life of royalty.

Versailles to Amsterdam (Amsterdam Centraal), the Netherlands. Travel time 4 hrs 27mins with 2 transfers at Paris. Reservation needed.

Explore Amsterdam canals and cobbled streets. Visit the many famous cafés and take a relaxing stroll around the pretty city. Take your time to check out the Anne Frank museum, Van Gogh Museum, Rijks Museum, Rembrandt House Museum, Stedelijk Museum, Red Light District and Vondel Park.

Amsterdam to Berlin (Berlin Hbf) 6 hrs 28 mins. Reservation needed.

Visit the famous Berlin Wall, East Side Gallery, Brandenburg Gate, Charlottenburg Palace, Reichstag, Holocaust Memorial, Potsdamer Platz and Kunsthaus Tacheles. Try the traditional Bratwurst and grab a giant beer while you’re at it. Harry Potter, the exhibition is on October through March ’18! Berlin to Prague (Praha hl.n.) 4 hrs 40 mins.

Climb the 138 steps of Old Town Bridge for the ultimate city panorama. It is suggested that you go at dusk, when it is quiet and you can enjoy the calm serenity once the crowds subside. Other highlights include Prague Castle, St Vitus’ Cathedral, Kafka House. Try a traditional bohemian platter, taste the traditional beer or great coffee and top it off with an apple strudel. Prague to Salzbourg (Salzbourg Hbf), Austria. 6hrs 25 mins (1 transfer)

Remember the scene from The Sound of Music – the hills are alive? You will be transported to the world of Julie Andrews and discover the fascinating facts and fiction of the Von Trapp family. The Sound of Music Museum in the center of the city offers interactive displays and memorabilia from the 1965 movie. Visit the pristine Lake District, Mozart’s Birthplace, Mozart’s Residence and Hohensalzburg Fortress. Well known for its classical music scene, Salzbourg is the birthplace of Mozart! One experience you will never forget.

Salzbourg to Fussen, Germany (1 transfer-Munich) 3hrs 50mins

Fussen is home to one of the most photographed castles in the world, Neuschwanstein Castle. It sits on top of a hill overlooking the alpine forest and lakes. There is another castle which is a huge attraction there also, called Hohenschwangen Castle. It is worth visiting both if you get the chance. The Museum of the Bavarian Kings is a popular attraction. Fussen to Venice (Venezia Santa Lucia), Italy – 3 transfers incl. Verona – 8 hrs 35mins

Venice is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Ride a gondola through the canals and archways to marvel at the artistic architecture and history. The bustling ancient city on the water with its palaces and charming Renaissance buildings make it an unforgettable experience. Taste real Italian food and dine al fresco on the banks of the beautiful Venice canals. Try pasta e fasioi  with the famous tiramisu for dessert if you get a chance. Visit San Marco Basilica, Piazza San Marco, Rialto Bridge and Campanile (viewing tower). Just go wandering!

Venice to Florence (Firenze S.M.N.) 2 hrs 5mins

Florence is home to the world famous sculpture, Michaelangelo’s statue of David. The original is housed in the Galleria dell’Accademia with a replica standing in Piazza della Signoria. This renaissance masterpiece represents the biblical hero David, is made of marble and stands at an astounding 17 ft (5.17m). The Renaissance city is brimming with historic architecture. You should visit Il Duomo, Ponte Vecchio (bridge), Galileo Museum and Uffizi Gallery. Take your time and enjoy walking around taking in the sights.

Florence to Rome (Roma Termini) 1hr 30mins

First and foremost you should visit the Colosseum. It was the largest ever built in the Roman Empire and is one of the greatest examples of Roman architecture ever. Real Gladiators fought and met their bloody deaths there. The Trevi fountain is another famous landmark you won’t want to miss. Other places of interest include the Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Roman Forum. A trip to the Vatican is probably a must too. There you can find the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, Vatican Gardens, Castel Sant’Angelo. You should try the world famous gelato and according to Anthony Bourdain when in Rome, it would be a crime against humanity not to try the cacio e pepe!

Rome to Monte Carlo, Monaco (Monaco-Monte-Carlo) 2 transfers incl. Genova – 6hrs 50mins

Check out the rich and luxurious tax haven where the famous and wealthy reside and frequent. Ogle the sports cars and high-end shops with casinos and top restaurants on every corner. Visit the House of Grimaldi, see the route for the Monaco Grand Prix, Oceanographic Museum, Prince’s Palace and Monaco Cathedral. The House of Grimaldi has frescos and sculptures that will blow your mind. If you like to gamble, you will love Monaco. Definitely worth the visit, even if only to see the stunning buildings and pristine gardens.

Monte Carlo to Barcelona (Barcelona Sants) 4 transfers incl. Nice, Marseilles and beautiful Avignon in France. 9hrs 25 mins total.

Visit the world famous landmark La Sagrada Familia by Antonio Gaudi. Park Guell by Gaudi is nearby and a must-see attraction also. Las Ramblas markets and of course the Picasso Museum. FC Barcelona’s Nou Camp stadium is a place of interest too. Take your time and explore, there are so many cool things to see and do in Barcelona! If you wish to chill out, go to the park, there are lots to choose from! You can also take day trips to nearby attractions and pretty villages or towns. The science museum is out of this world and a great family day out.
